I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at IDSIA, part of the IR Group led by Fabio Crestani. My research focuses on NLP for mental health, with a particular interest in how people express psychological states through language and how computational methods can help in better understanding and support well-being.

I have been lucky to work in interdisciplinary collaborations across Psychology and Digital Humanities, with the Laboratory for Clinical Cognitive Science led by Ioana Podină, the Psychiatric Control Systems Lab led by Hamidreza Jamalabadi and with the Codhus Research Centre led by Mădălina Chitez.

I received my PhD in October 2025 from the University of Bucharest, Romania and Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain under the supervision of Liviu P. Dinu and Paolo Rosso.

I am currently interested in how culture influences the manifestations of mental disorders and how we can develop culturally aware computational methods for more inclusive mental health screening.
